Mount Washington Course – New Hampshire

If you are looking for golf with a view, you will be stunned by the picturesque Presidential Mountain Range backdrop as you play through this incredible 18-hole course. This golf course was featured in Golfweek Magazine’s Best Course You Can Play in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire from 2009-2013, making it one of the premier golf destinations in New England. Built in 1915 by Donald Ross, this par 72 course will celebrate its 100th birthday this season. The Mount Washington Course was recently restored by architect Brian Silva and reopened in 2008. Silva stuck to Ross’ original plans for the layout of the course, making the restoration a celebration of Ross’ classic flair. Golfers find this course pleasantly challenging and delightfully scenic. Make sure you book an advanced tee time at this popular attraction.

Cape Neddick Country Club – Maine

Located in the quaint town of Ogunquit, Maine, golf enthusiasts will enjoy playing at this pristine course while vacationing by the beach. The course has an interesting history dating back to 1900. John Pickering owned an estate in Cape Neddick, where he put in three holes of golf as a way for family and friends of all ages to engage. The three holes shortly expanded to six, and then nine. By 1919, well-respected golf course architect, Donald Ross, directed plans to lay out a full 18-hole golf course. Nowadays, this course keeps up the old traditions and friendly atmosphere—just as Pickering intended it. This semi-private course also has a pub and grill that offers delicious food, large televisions, and great views of the 18th fairway.

All will enjoy the scenery that surrounds the 7,244 yards of green seaside bent grass.
