This resort will be built on a 26-acre oceanfront lot that also contains a ten-acre public park, right between Honua Kai Resort & Spa and The Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas. The resort is being developed by Starwood Vacation Ownership, who currently owns 3 other popular resort properties in Hawaii. Starwood is well known and respected in the community, and the Mayor, Alan Arakawa, has stated how excited he is to add another fine resort to Kaanapali beach. The word, “Nanea,” refers to a state of relaxation and tranquility, and the resort will aim to inspire that in all of its visitors. Rooms will feature the signature Westin Heavenly Bed, which supports and adjusts to the individual’s form for ultimate comfort. Guests will be surrounded by stunning ocean views and beautiful Hawaiian culture. To add opportunities for relaxation, those who stay at the new resort will have access to Spa Helani, located at neighboring resort Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas.

The resort boasts 390 well-appointed villas with various amenities to make you feel right at home while on vacation. A 10,000-square-foot lagoon-style swimming pool will be one of the many on-site attractions at this resort. The pool area itself will have an upper pool, a children’s beach pool and play area, and two plunge pools. Right nearby, three oceanfront cabanas and a fully-equipped workout studio will be available for relaxation and aerobics respectively. The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas will also contain a full-service restaurant that will cater local Hawaiian cuisine as well as international food items. You can look forward to dining in style with gorgeous ocean views at every table. A pool bar will also be available to offer cocktails and lighter fare that you can enjoy while relaxing by the water.
